Description: Qualified ideally regionally local Director of Networks (NOC's) and Telecommunications candidates will have ten years+ of experience in Network and Telecommunications management including extensive knowledge of Telecommunications and data networks within the brokerage / trading technology environment which will include a proven record of supervising staff and developing their technical and managerial skills including a detailed understanding of budget and implementation processes for network operations requirements. The selected ideally regionally local Director of Networks (NOC's) and Telecommunications candidate will reporting to the Head of North American Infrastructure, and as the Director, Networks (NOC's) and Telecommunications will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the strategy for all North America data and voice networks including leading in planning, technical analysis, budgets, and resource management in order to meet deadlines and objectives. Supervise, monitor, manage and support the maintenance, expansion, optimization and enhancements.
Including:
-Monitor and maintain system quality using system statistics and customer service survey information.
-Supervise the development of processes, methods and tools to ensure that systems are performing to design expectations, system failures are quickly identified and corrected, and technical staff, tools and test equipment are in place to identify and correct performance affecting faults in a timely manner.
-Provide leadership/guidance to employees through example, guidance and coaching. Create a high performance work environment that encourages staff to expand their horizons, learn new processes, and increase their technical knowledge.
-Act as intra- and inter-company liaison. Contribute technical guidance to senior management to enhance their understanding of Telecommunications and Networks. Collaborate with Operations and Engineering peers as appropriate to solve common problems and issues.
-Hire, train and retain qualified employees. Manage the regional team by identifying and hiring high caliber staff. Utilize interviewing skills, professional contacts and thorough background screening to ensure candidates meet a high level of performance standards. Provide staff with relevant training and a work environment that encourages excellence.
-Responsible for managing Compliance Requirements, Network Planning and Engineering to create short- and long-range plans for global implementation.
-Lead implementation teams formed by staff in Operations, Network Planning and Engineering to implement these plans.
-Promote innovative ideas that maximize company resources and minimize corporate expenses.
-Manage and evaluate the installation and performance of new technologies. Analyze new system enhancements and contribute direction towards overall global deployment.
-Ensure region-wide compliance to the annual budget by regularly reviewing performance-to-budget levels via monthly financial reports. Prepare and review budgets to meet the specified annual deadline. Verify that staffing and expense requests meet business objectives for quality and Operating Expense Plans.
Qualified ideally regionally local Director of Networks (NOC's) and Telecommunications candidates will have ten years+ of experience in Network and Telecommunications management including extensive knowledge of Telecommunications and data networks within the brokerage / trading technology environment which will include a proven record of supervising staff and developing their technical and managerial skills; detailed understanding of budget and implementation processes for network operations requirements. A BSEE or equivalent degree in a technical discipline is a plus.
Qualified candidates will have clear English writing and speaking skills not requiring repeating during rapid English speaking conversation.
