Contact: Recruiter Phone: apply on-line only Fax: no faxes please Description: Description QVCs Internet Merchandising department has an exciting opportunity for a talented Internet Merchandiser/Extended Assortment Merchandiser in our Fashion/Beauty areas to join their team at our Studio Park (West Chester, PA) location. The successful candidate, reporting to a Director will  develop and maintain an extended buy anytime assortment for several merchandise categories with the goal of increasing margin and sales, and maintaining a healthy assortment of merchandise in support of QVCs business goals.  Identify, negotiate price and terms, buy, develop and execute new products, concepts, brands and ideas that will be successful in Electronic retail. Negotiate the best cost and terms for the products. Analyze sales trends and be aware of inventory levels so as to action items in a timely way.  Perform duties according to company policies and procedures with latitude for independent judgment and initiative. Qualifications & Requirements • Bachelors Degree in Merchandising/Marketing/Business or related field or equivalent experience required. • Minimum 1 year Buying Office experience, with 3 years of buying experience strongly preferred in the Beauty or Fashion categories strongly preferred. • Minimum 1-3 years Internet Buying experience desired. • Experience managing/leading others highly desired. • Experience in an Internet or Merchandising environment required. • Ability to work as necessary, during evening/weekend hours for specific shows or for guest appearances. • Ability to travel overnight. • Excellent PC skills required including working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet strict deadlines and goals. • Excellent oral and written communication skills required. • Must be a team player who has a proven track record and ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships in order to achieve overall web site and company sales objectives.   Location: Studio Park (West Chester, PA) Employment Type: Division Division: QVC.com Shift: First Please refer to Job code 1938 when responding to this ad.
