Posting Job Title (2) Rep, Direct Sales (Bergen) TimeWarner Division Time Warner Cable Location United States - New Jersey - Palisades Park Requisition # 88519BR Position Type Full Time Posting Job Description Essential Job Functions Will be expected to explain and sell cable services in a manner consistent with Time Warner Cable policies, procedures, quality standards and customer needs. Sell Cable service door to door by cold calling to prospective customers in residential areas and street fairs. Includes lobby demonstrations and special events coverage. Communicate to customers and prospective customers about product benefits. Inform customers of prices and billing information. Complete customers work orders/service agreements. Submit daily tracking and commission forms accurately. Obtain qualified sales to meet the established sales quota as set by the Sales Supervisor. Attends scheduled meetings and is responsible for maintaining departmental standards. Bilingual skills a plus. OWN CAR REQUIRED. Must be flexible to work schedule which includes weekend and evening hours. Job Requirements/Qualifications Must have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Previous sales experience helpful. Posses a cooperative and positive attitude toward customers and employees. Must be persuasive, self-confident and highly energetic. Computer skills in a Windows based environment a plus. Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment. Must be well organized and self-motivated. Excellent communication and customer contact skills are essential. Will be working in a typical office environment using standard office equipment, including a personal computer.
