Location United States - New York - New York Requisition # 91829BR Position Type Full Time Posting Job Description Overview: Time Inc is looking for a senior online sales development executive to oversee all creative, production, operational, and sales support for the new Health.com website scheduled for a major relaunch in second quarter 08. This is a critical, high profile position that will require an individual attracted and motivated by the challenge, excitement and opportunity of a "start-up", but who appreciates the resources and benefits of an established company and the inherent advantages of a well-known and respected consumer brand- Health magazine. We will only consider those experienced sales development professionals willing and able to contribute in an immediate and profound way. You must be creative and strategic in your approach to the sales development process, be able to build and manage a team, and possess strong presentation and interpersonal skills. Specific Responsibilities: . Lead efforts to respond quickly and creatively to all online RFPs and develop compelling sales proposals and presentations for clients. . Create and oversee production of all online ad sales materials and collateral, incorporating research data where necessary. . Collaborate with the Health Magazine sales development team to create compelling integrated programs and to integrate online components into all client proposals. . Develop and oversee production of rich media, contests and sweepstakes, and other non-standard advertising programs for clients. Bid these projects out to external vendors for both creative and/or production. . Work with Health.coms VP of Sales to develop efficient and effective pricing models, and assist in maintaining the rate card, including production costs, for all inventory across the site. . Serve as a category (e.g., pharma, OTC, non-endemic) expert with a firm handle on the current competitive/strategic landscape to help fully inform the sales development process. . Work closely with the Time Inc Interactive (TII) Ad Operations team to plan, launch and successfully manage, monitor and optimize campaigns for each client on a day-to-day basis. . Coordinate with Health.com management and edit production teams to ensure proper planning and scheduling of ad-supported online packages. . Manage and update performance and pipeline reports. Specific Attributes: . Candidates must have at least 5+ years of successful sales development experience at a website and at least 2 years of management experience. Experience with a media content site and the selling of cross-platform programs strongly preferred. . Must have excellent communications and interpersonal skills, and be an enthusiastic team leader in order to successfully coordinate sales efforts across multiple divisions including site editorial and sales staffs, Health magazine print sales and sales development staffs, and TII Ad Operations & Finance. . A solid grasp of online inventory management and ad serving processes is required. . Must possess a working knowledge of the online metrics and research tools used in the marketplace (i.e. MediaMetrix, Nielsen NetRatings, Omniture). Quantitative skills for analysis of this data also required. . Strong time management and organizational skills are essential. . Must be proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
