Desired skills Prior customer system integration experience, SAP domain knowledge, and/or technical leadership of systems engineering teams to manage development contractor efforts are highly desired; Specific Job Description Specific responsibilities include: - Management of a staff approximately 15 people. - Management support and oversight of LMC OET Subcontracts, subcontractor personnel, and tracking of consumable hours. - Provide technical and programmatic leadership support for key project functional areas; ability to manage development contractors and associated program milestones - Conduct staff performance appraisals and salary planning - Ensure program compliance for all contractual obligations and deliverables; must be familiar with customer acquisition practices and procedures. - Provide the customer with technical oversight, guidance, and recommendations for all system development and implementation activities. - Preparation and presentation of technical briefings at milestone, program, and business reviews - requires excellent written, verbal, and briefing skills. - Support GISP business operations and contract activities related to the Sculptor program and activities - Provide mentoring for new and/or junior personnel. Standard Job Description The Operations and Engineering Transition (OET) Team lead will provide management and technical direction for all OET team activities. The OET team has 4 technical disciplines: Definition and conduct of Readiness Reviews (e.g. design reviews, pre-ship reviews, operational readiness reviews); Verification and Validation of development contract test activities (factory acceptance tests, system acceptance tests, integration tests, user and community demos); Transition planning (development of transitions plans and checklists and transition oversight); and management of special purpose operational tools to support mission planning and analysis. Successful candidate will oversee a combined LMC/subcontractor team that directly supports the program with system integration and engineering services and provides day-to-day technical direction for all program SI/SE personnel. Position requires the ability to prioritize tasks, track all team activities, provide customer and program management team status/reporting, and provide technical direction and support for all team projects. Program personnel work closely with the customer, Development/SETA contractors, and Operations/Maintenance personnel in a team environment. Candidate must have excellent Customer Intimacy skills and ability to anticipate and respond rapidly to dynamic tasking. Security Clearance Top Secret/Special Security Requirements Typical Minimums Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.
