Apply to this position Description Senior-level engineering, architecture, and development responsibilities for globally scalable, operationally sustainable information technology infrastructure solutions, with subject matter expertise focused on Citrix Technologies, Windows Server Operating Systems, and Server hardware infrastructure. Lead engineering efforts around the evaluation, standardization, monitoring and management, and planning of current and future Citrix and Windows Server technologies. Represents all areas of the team’s Citrix and Windows Server technologies to internal and external sources. Evaluate, design, and deploy Citrix technologies to enable enhanced, automated and secure server based computing platform including Windows Terminal Services, Citrix Presentation Server, Citrix Access Gateway, Application Virtualization, Single Sign-On, Thin Clients, Wireless Devices, Windows Server Operating Systems, Core Utilities, Agent and Management Software. Evaluate, test, Maintain lifecycle and release management for Citrix and Windows Server technologies that will clearly demonstrate all elements of evaluating, deploying, supporting and retiring. Provide mentoring and coaching to junior team members. Provide input to performance evaluation and development planning for junior team members. Provide technical leadership to junior team members. This position will have a strong relationship and interface to all TED and GIS counterparts to design, communicate, propose, and deliver solutions. Provide detailed guidance, project updates, and utilization metrics to IT IS Global Program Management organization. Maintain a state-of-the-art world class lab. This lab is used for development, and as a showcase environment that is fully functional when needed. Lab activities include data analysis, interoperability testing, error types and quality metrics, regression testing, stress testing, load testing, system testing procedures, test tools (e.g. Load Runner), unit and functional testing procedures, version control, build/rebuild procedures, and heavy automation. Serve as development lead, product manager, or related key project role for internal or external initiatives related to Windows Server area expertise, providing necessary and relevant project artifacts, status updates, utilization and scheduling guidance, and related communications to the project manager and project team members. Develop detailed design 4+ years experience with Citrix technologies engineering and development. 2-4 years experience with key project roles on large enterprise technology development projects. Extensive engineering and operational experience with key subject area technologies such as Windows Server Operating Systems, HP ProLiant Rack Mount and Blade Server hardware, and Server Health and Monitoring Solutions, end-to-end deployment processes for HW and OS through automated solutions (i.e., MS DBB), Virtual Operating Systems, Application Streaming and Isolation, Terminal Services, DMZ, Firewalls, VPN, Error Collection & Knowledge Resolution, WMI/WBEM, policy based mgmt for HW, SW, and configurations, anti-Virus & firewall, Server lifecycle activities, AD, account management, configuration definition/modification, backup, restore and location (e.g. registry, INI files), directory, file structures and systems, input and output technologies, installation of applications, operating system administration (e.g., monitoring, process control, threads, upgrades and patching), OS compatibility and interoperability.
