Apply to this position Description Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Inc., a member of Johnson & Johnsons Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Machine Operator I, located in Raritan, NJ. Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics, Inc. provides in vitro diagnostic products to hospital, commercial and clinical laboratories, and blood donor centers. Its products include reagents and instrument systems used in blood typing and donor testing; clinical chemistry determinations and immunoassays for disease diagnosis and therapy management; as well as RhoGAM, an injectable drug used to prevent hemolytic disease of the newborn. The Machine Operator I will perform operations as described by SOPs under cGMPs. Work closely with other manufacturing support areas to coordinate activities. Maintain equipment in proper working order. Maintain individual training records. Clean and sterilize equipment. Follow safety procedures and practices. Maintain a clean orderly work environment. Communicate problems to supervisor, technician or engineer. Properly complete manufacturing This is a third shift position. Qualifications Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required. One year of related experience or training within cGMP environment required. Experience filling out batch paperwork to cGMP standards required. Ability to work varying shifts and overtime hours when necessary, required. Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25lbs. required. Ability to use and read measuring devices required. Ability to read and write English required. Basic computer skills in MS Outlook and MS Excel required. Experience working in a clean-room environment preferred. Forklift certification and experience preferred. Experience in leadership role and proven process improvement ability preferred.
