Proactively build an effective network of relationships based on a deep level of trust in judgment, competence and confidentiality that will lead to stronger buy in and sponsorship within the internal customers businesses ? Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and integrity in business transactions and conduct. ? Understand and articulate key business and HR metrics ? Possess a basic understanding of industry trends Talent Management ? Develop and implement organizational design/plan for single business unit, (e.g. organization structure, teams, jobs etc) ? Manage talent management/development activities (e.g. maintaining succession planning records and files, facilitating talking talent sessions) at work group level ? Support line/ employees in the selection of appropriate development opportunities ? Manage talent management programs that would influence and shape leadership behavior to meet business objectives in a diverse environment Total Rewards ? Interpret compensation data and prepare recommendations for HR and/or line based on detailed analysis of internal/external data ? Implement programs (e.g. incentive, recognition, benefits, retention) that impact population segments (e.g. single business unit, teams) of Novartis ? Manage salary review, incentive, review of stock options plan. ? Communicate with and educate HR, managers and employees on the value of total remuneration package and its competitiveness versus the market. ? Influence business partners and peers in support of total rewards programs. Minimum requirements ? Bachelors Degree with emphasis in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or other related discipline. Advanced degree in organizational development or MBA preferred. ? Masters degree in HR or Business is preferred. ? Business oriented HR executive with a track record of success as a Business Partner supporting key business leaders. ? Specific functional knowledge and experience in talent acquisition and development would be a plus. ? Successful track record of success in executing a cultural change is a must. ? Minimum of 10 years HR experience in a company known for their HR practices. ? Experience in pharmaceutical companies or companies in other business segments with great HR practices or a combination. ? International experience in companies that operate in a matrixes environment is preferred. ? Well-developed teambuilding, listening and influencing skills; unquestioned integrity and experience, confidence and stature to effectively address sensitive HR issues. ?
