Troll for Hal Lillywhite either here at r.b. That's his neck of the SAR world. Hood isn't hard done in summer (moonlite nights are incredible and can be crowded). Ask Hal. It depends on what skills you are wanting to learn. 2-3 days isn't very long, and it also depends what other basic skills you have (like belaying). If you want basics, you can get that kind of level stuff on just about any closer Cascade volcanos excepting smaller glaciers to the Sierra. --
