Why don't you just return it?
I never had a problem returning stuff to Moosejaw. DWR doesn't last anyway,
you have to re-apply it periodically.

Gee, a problem with a hooded sweatshirt. I hope this
doesn't ruin your life.

i used to buy patagonia clothing almost exclusively. since i discovered
they moved their production to asia, quit offering the lifetime warranty,
and redesigned the capiline underwear line from three weights to four i have
only bought a couple of pieces of their gear. from here on out i will be
buying none.
i always used mid weight and expedition weight capiline according to
particular needs. the new #2 weight is too light for me and the #4 is too
heavy. the #3 weight is either too heavy or too light. they have made this
line useless for me. i even bought some of the stuff last year before i saw
the tags saying where it was made. i was shocked to see it wasn't home
grown anymore.
their technical wear manufactur has not only been moved offshore but they
have abandoned goretex. they can spout all the want about how their h2no is
just as good or better. i thought i was going to die back in the early days
of h2no in the late 80's and won't risk going into the backcountry with it
again.
i currently own three of their technical coats and two pair of bibs and an
uncountable amount of older style capiline. my wife has two of their gortex
coats and two pair of bibs and lots of other stuff. i bet we have 10,000
dollars worth of patagonia clothing from the good ol days. i was a
dedicated customer for them since the 1970's but no more. as my patagonia
clothing comes due for replacement i will be buying from other vendors.
sorry for the off topic rant but when someone mentions patagonia i get all
crazy. they were good to me for years, but i can't support them anymore and
that sucks.

I'm pretty sure the guy boiling fries at McDonalds has to resolve tougher
problems than purchasing a hoodie.

Not a chance. One open blue trail is called "Boredom-on-skis-
punctuated-by-rocks-and-morons-on-boards-being-hyped-by-media".

Then forget about the resorts. Hire a snowmachine and have them take
you up high and ski unbroken powder on your own.

why waste that much money when intermediate terrain is the best i could
muster on the busted knee? heck, i may make one or two turns and have to
call it quits. i am at the point where lortab 10's don't even keep the pain
at bay. doc says i should be fine for skiing by jan. if it all works out
i'll be in the alps for the best of their season in late feb.
michael
crap. i just noticed that by just hitting the reply tab in this thread has
made me a cross poster. i hate it when that happens.
