The fact that MS now pays a divident marks their change from a high
growth investment to a 'mature' company with limited growth potential.
If the stock price is growing, there is no need to pay dividends to keep
the investors happy. Paying dividends cuts into available capital for
acquisitions and future product development. I'm not saying this
marks the death of MS by any stretch, but I am sure they would rather
show higher valuation and no dividend if they could.
Oh, and GLACI, Inc. (a Linux specializing corporation of which I own all
the stock) paid me considerabley more than that. ;)

You will now backup your claim that keir is one of the only truthful linux
advocates here by quoting one lie from every single other one.
You can leave quotes out from 7 because he's almost as useless as you are.

Corsair XMS2 2GB (PC2 6400) $62US
Sapphire 100205L Radeon HD 2400XT 256MB $72

AntiVir and AVG are both free. NOD32 ver3 is $30/year.

One hour for installation and updates. Another 45 mins for additional
software and customizing settings. Restoring an image is 20 mins.
> No expensive Vista-incompatible software upgrades $800
Name the software and versions _you_ own which needed to be upgraded to run
on Vista.

That was a bit of sarcasm I hoped Linonut would find amusing.
