I was a user of xbiff. It worked well, though it was ugly and lacking some functionality. Then I briefly switched to mail-notification, which was nice, except is has a really bad habit of marking emails that it did not see before, as unread. It was really annoying, as, in fact, I ran mail-notification from several computers, including a laptop, so whenever laptop could come online, it would mark a bunch of emails as unread, even though I read them long ago. But I like a lot of its functionality, and wanted to know if there is a better xbiff type program that I am overlooking. I would prefer something like xbiff, to something that sits in the gnome panel, or at least to have a choice of both kinds. Is there a Mercedes-Benz style xbiff? Thanks i
