My guess is that this may be a simple matter of things not appearing in the menus. On my distribution, lots of things are there, but only a handful are put on the menus. I don't know what the spoon-feed distributions are like in that regard. But certainly if the applications are there, they can be run from a command line, or added to the menu, and that may be all that is needed here. Michael
