Hello that's the question
I'm goig to setup a file server on an old PII mb with a PII 233 cpu on it
and with 6 HD.
To power them I'd like to use a 300W fanless Power suply.
Do you think it's possible?
How much watt does a HD 3:5 take?
Thank you
serge

I found that you need about 25W per HDD for reliable startup.
They consume significantly less when running.
Deduce 100W for the mainboard and you should be able to run
8 HDDs with this PSU.
