What is the most childish thing you have done as an adult? An article in The
Times the other day prompted me to do something which was remarkably
childish. The story related to a group of school children in the UK who
released a number of helium balloons and asked people to return them if they
found them. Most were found within a few miles of the launch site, but one
found its way to China, where upon the Chinese gentleman returned it by post
to the school. He was then interviewed by the newspaper, and I just thought
'wow, what a fascinating story'.
So, with my email address attached to a piece of card, and a helium balloon
in hand......
I let one off myself!

If you don't mind me saying so, I don't find that in the least bit childish.
Childlike, maybe, but certainly not childish.

My ex-son-in-law was chastising my grandson for making a mess eating
spaghetti-o's. I listened for a few minutes and thought enough was
enough...so I took a bowl of them, mashed my face in them and proceeded to
eat them down.
We ended up in a food fight that was totally cool...until my daughter came
in...the old fuddy-duddy.

I'll let you know if anyone sends me an email saying they found it. Knowing
my luck, it burst 2 miles south and collapsed in a heap in the waters of the
