We know that the Liberals cleared Mulroney of all wrong doing and paid him $2 million to boot. So why should Harper not take the Liberals at their word that Mulroney was clean and use the opportunity to learn from Mulroney's successes? In 1990, they were political enemies and somehow I doubt that they ever became bosom buddies even after he was cleared by the Liberals..
