In our voting system, concentrated minority voting blocks can determine the government of the day. Jumping Jack would be a shooo.... in and then he could bump that 1% up to 2%, a mere months supply of babies in China. We could become another Tibet. . The GTA is proof in that it has 50 seats and elected 50 liberal MPs to parliament, easily rivaling the seats that the Liberals previously got from Quebec. However, their power base has now shifted to the major cities dominated by minorities. All shrewd planning by Trudeau Liberals. Is Canada destined to be Canada in name only? It's a shame and disgrace that Canadians hate their country so much that they are willing to gamble it's very existence by pandering to some unknown Liberal Party entity. All designed for cheap labor and cheap votes and perpetual Liberal power. When that time comes Liberals like Paul Martin won't have to register their ships off shore. -lm ====================================== > > >

Let's make it a > whole lot harder for the foreigner invaders wanting > to flood into Canada, taking our jobs and demanding Taking your job? When unemployment is at a record 30 years low? If you have been without a job for longer than 3 months, the problem is you, not Canada. ======================= Why the 30 year low? I suggest a policy of giving tax breaks to companies which in turn create the need for new jobs, Then after we create these jobs, the cry is that we need more people to fill these jobs. It's a self perputating cycle. In the meantime those tax breaks are monies that are not available to be spent on social programs or infrastructure. Lets plan on living with in our means and that includes both manpower and resources and controlled growth through taxation.. ======================== > we tear up our traditions just to accommodate their > strident demands. > What tradition of yours you have to tear up? Let it be known that more than 10 thousand USAmericans decided to make Canada their home, a record number. --------------- The Americans or their culture is not our enemy, in spite of the efforts of the left to make it so. Canada has absorbed millions of Americans over the years and they changed out culture by not one iota. -lm =========================

Take CPP obligations, US reports Social Security deficits as part of the their debt while Canada does not. 60B over 5-6 years might sound like a lot, but government revenues (and spending) are at all time highs. > The corporate rate in Canada is lower than in the US. Look for inflation to bite hard middle of next year. Interest rates might also pop. North America is addicted to debt.
