Scope of work/responsibilities: We are seeking a PeopleSoft Consultant to lead the functional testing team of our client's HCM 8.9 Maintenance Upgrade Project from Application Bundle# 9 to #14. The modules that will be upgraded are Human Resources, Base Benefits, Health and Safety, Labour Relations, Candidate Gateway, and Talent Acquisition. Candidate will be responsible for: 1) completing and executing the functional test plan and setting up/updating the test scripts; 2) coordinating functional testing of Human Resources, Base Benefits, Health and Safety, Labour Relations, Candidate Gateway, Talent Acquisition, and Payroll as well as testing for bolt-on functions with the internal SMEs from the respective departments; 3) managing the upgrade SIR log (ie. Software Incident Report) on all outstanding functional problems or issues; and 4) coordinating periodic functional status meetings and completing testing by SMEs and working with them to complete sign-off of successful tests and working with the developers in rectifying problems or issues. Required Skills & Experience: To be considered, candidate will have excellent functional knowledge of the PeopleSoft HCM 8.9 HR, Base Benefits, Health & Safety, Labour Relations Candidate Gateway and Talent Acquisition modules as well as strong functional testing skills. Individual must have team leading / management skills to effectively lead a team of testers/SMEs from the various business units and to work with a variety of different individuals. This also requires the ability to motivate others and manage deliverables to ensure completion of testing as per project schedule.
