It seems that Shaw just can not keep their so-called news-server working properly for a week at a time.
Again, it is all screwed up - pouring out hundreds of thousands of old news articles to newsgroups,
some dating back to beginning of September!
Immediately prior to this flood, their news-server was giving an error message:
503 program fault, command not performed
Hopefully someone at SHAW will fix their prolems with the damn news-server, so that Shaw customers
will be able to continue claiming that Shaw gives better service than Telus.

Shaw should just put the source of this garbage in the kill file. Shaw was
advertising for support staff not too long ago. Either they got someone
cheap or no one at all.

Strangely, Mr. Grosvenor doesn't seem to be using Shaw's news servers these days.
Methinks he does indeed have a problem, but it isn't the one he is suggesting.

Shaw is famous for running the nations worst newsgroup server and mail
server for decade now. They are a 50/50 crap shoot really. But the rest of
the service is the best amongst the others at present, not that it's perfect
but bang for the buck it's the best. I've used them all here in Calgary at
one time or another, the rest do newsgroup and mail services vastly better
but suck were it really counts(stable fast downloads speeds). You can always
get a newsgroup reader that isn't Shaw's mess up one.
These other guys here seam to have a hardon for this Grosvner guy or what
ever the hell his name is, as zero gets debated here much but the 90% post
sent to him in a childish manner. They claim they hate but he get more
replies than all others combined here, second by this doctor guy. Not really
much here too miss even if Shaw misses a day or two. Grosvner and doctor
hate the establishment and these other posters hate him. There now you've
got all the post for the whole year in one and most of next years too. So
you should be up to date now and for a while to come.
