Global TV keeps showing convoys of charter busloads of Shoppers from Toronto,
going to Buffalo to save, save, save.
These shoppers stated they had no sympathy for the gouging retailers in
Canada.
In Alberta there similar charter excursions to Spokane and Seattle.
Shoppers have finally decided to shop where they do not swindled so much.
And do not forget the great deals for cars, south of the border!!
>You left out the part where the Global TV reporters were on a bus with the
>shoppers for several hours waiting at the border due to being delayed by
>Customs and Immigration officials. The report that I saw had most of them
>saying "never again".
The TV stations for the past few weeks have been featuring convoys of
chartered buses, in both eastern and western Canada, taking contented shoppers
to the USA.
Guess Canada Customs may be getting something from all the retailers losing
business to the USA, so they deliberately harass all the shoppers, maybe?
And Canadian dealers have been offering compensatory rebates on cars for weeks
now.
According to all the websites showing comparative prices between US & Canada,
the crooked Canadian dealers are STILL NOT CLOSE TO US PRICING,
even after their alleged discounts!!
If you want help from the good folks in Spokane, and plan on buying a vehicle,
or whatever, give Julie in Spokane a call:

Government excuses. You know that. Tax what the voter will vote for.
McGoonty got the vote, live with it or move.
Better Montana, less state sales tax and saves you the paperwork. Spokane?
Why not Whitefish, Kalispell or Great Falls?
