The gospel of Christ has a mystery that is understood by the saved but not understood by the world. Only when Christ reveals it is anyone able to understand the gospel. That mystery makes all the difference between being saved and being lost. The world will not believe it no matter what. Because the mystery was lost, the world passed into the dark ages. When the Lord showed it to Martin Luther, the Protestant Reformation began. For 300 years, many understood it. But now the Protestant Rebellion against the gospel of the Reformation merely professes to believe it but does not understand it and cannot do it and people are not saved.
